Terri Trowbridge (Mrs. Hoppa)

Lifelong storyteller and first-time author, Terri Trowbridge, is a mother of eight and grandmother of nine.  She is an avid cook, gardener and crafter with a deep affection for animals.  In 1981, she and her husband, Jim, cofounded the non-profit organization WolfHaven International in Tenino, WA.  At home, the have provided temporary care to squirrels, possums, birds and other injured and abandoned wildlife.

Terri is also a dedicated childcare provider.  She runs a daycare from her Olympia home with her husband and their daughter, Misty.

Barbara McConkey, Illustrator

Barbara McConkey is an award-winning graphic designer and illustrator with over 22 years of experience in the field.  In 1999, she started her own graphics business, InForm Design, that specializes in projects for public and elementary education.  She is a mixed media and watercolor artist.  "Tulowly" is her first book.

Barbara and her husband Benny live with their three children Cayce, Brin and Savanna in Olympia, WA.
